Eye Wear/GVS Providers
SMART has an eyewear agreement with
General Vision Services (GVS). There is
no co-payment for an eye exam and the
eye wear benefits, frame selection, store
locations, etc. are a greater benefit to our
members than offered by Eye Med. Eye
Med is the managing company of vision
benefits to the MTA, but offers more for
SMART members. Union members are
strongly encouraged to use GVS locations
and take advantage of bonus offers listed
in their brochure. A complete list of store
locations, benefit information from GVS
are available in our SMART office. If you

Select Vision World stores are still
excepting the plan, but confirmation of
participation is required by calling
